Reading Olympics

The goal of Reading Olympics is to increase the quality and quantity of books students read for enjoyment. The Olympics are primarily a celebration of reading rather than a contest. All participants are awarded ribbons. Since the teams generate much excitement about this reading event, the experience is rewarding for everyone involved.

For the 2016-2017 academic year, Mrs. Chandler and Mrs. Mollure are the coordinators for Grades 4 & 5 and Dr. Bove is the coordinator for the Grades 6 ,7 & 8 teams. The reading teams meet during school or after school at least once per month.

The Reading Olympics competitions are being held on May 10 (Grades 4,5) and May 23 (middle school team).
