Financial Aid

Saints Peter and Paul School uses the Smart Aid application for making all tuition assistance determinations and awards. The application is now available for the 2017-2018 academic year. Families are encouraged to complete this application as soon as possible, but definitely before December 31, 2016.

Those families who applied for the 2016-2017 school year will only need to:
1. login using their username and password from 16-17
2. update their information
3. submit and pay the $25 application fee
4. return to the site and upload their 2016 taxes when completed but no later than 3/31/2017.

The first 3 steps above need to be completed by all returning families by 12/31/2016.
New families will want to complete the application by 12/31/2016 to be considered as a priority application.

Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, Saints Peter and Paul School receives tuition assistance for families through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC)For the 2016-2017 academic year, Saints Peter and Paul School has secured more than $105,000 in EITC funds.  Below is a list of the generous community businesses that dedicate EITC to Saints Peter and Paul School for the 2016-2017 academic year:

$15,000 from First Resource Bank

$17,000 from DNB First

$10,000 from DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith & Boyd Funeral Home

$9,000 from Lamb McErlane PC

$15,000 from Austill’s Rehabilitation Services, Inc

$15,000 from BLOCS (Business Leaders Organized for Catholic Schools)

$3,000 from Answering Service for Directors

$6,800 from    The West Chester Chamber of Commerce

$8,500 from    The Foundation for Catholic Education in Chester County

$5,000 from The Bridge Foundation

$1,200 from       Sterling Services, Inc., Bob DiScuillo, CPA

All applications and scholarship awards are extremely confidential. Awards are determined on a need basis.  The maximum income for a single household to qualify for EITC scholarships is as follows:

Increases by $15,270 for each additional dependent


How do families apply for an EITC scholarship?

SmartAid provides the application families are required to submit to apply for EITC tuition assistance.  The application is available at .  Families are asked to complete the online application and supply supporting documentation by the priority deadline of December 31, 2016. Families are encouraged not to delay the application process.    Families will be notified of awards and funds will be applied directly to individual family tuition accounts.

In addition to the financial aid described above, Saints Peter and Paul will work with families in need of tuition assistance.
