This Sunday we celebrate the Solemnity of The Body and Blood of Christ, the Eucharist.
As Catholics, we believe in the REAL presence of Christ in the Eucharist given to us by Jesus Himself at the Last Supper as the Memorial of “His death and resurrection”. We are also commanded by Him to: “Do this is memory of me”.
When we receive Holy Communion, the Eucharist, the priest or minister holds up the sacred Host and says to us” The Body of Christ”. We respond “Amen”, (I believe).
May the celebration of the Solemnity be a moment of grace for all of us. Think carefully about your Amen. Do you believe? What does this sacrament tell you personally about God’s love for you? What does this communion with Christ challenge you to be and do?
Reflecting on all of this, may each and all of us respond with a resounding AMEN!
This weekend we celebrate Father’s Day. It is a special day to recognize our fathers and father figures for all the good they have done for us and the sacrifices they made for us.
Sometimes we take the special people in our lives for granted. Special days like birthdays, holidays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day are moments of grace for us. If we allow them to be. We are given the opportunity to reflect on how lucky and blessed we are to have such good and loving people in our lives.
Be sure this Father’s Day to recognize your fathers and father figures, living and deceased. Thank God for them and for all they have done to make your life better by their love and sacrifices. Recognize the good things you have learned by their example.
Today, join me in honoring all the fathers and father figures everywhere. Pray with me that God will bless and reward them for being good fathers. May all the fathers and father figures know the love and respect of all of us, their children.
Thanks Dad! Happy Father’s Day! May God be with you always and bless and reward you for your goodness, example and love.
Happy Father’s Day, Dad...with Love!
God bless us all!

Novena to Saints Peter and Paul Begin praying the Novena June 21 Feast Day June 29
O Holy Apostles, Peter and Paul, I choose you this day and forever to be my special patrons and advocates, you, St Peter, Prince of the Apostles, because you are the Rock upon which almighty God has built His Church; you, St. Paul because you were chosen by God as the vessel of election and the preacher of truth to the whole world. Obtain for me, I pray to you, lively faith, firm hope and burning love; complete detachment from myself, contempt of the world, patience in adversity, humility in prosperity, attention in prayer, purity of diligence in fulfilling the duties of my state of life, constancy in my resolutions, resignation to the will of God and perseverance in the grace of God even to death; so that, by means of your intercession and your glorious merits, I may be able to overcome the devil, and may I be made worthy of the Promises of Christ and enjoy His presence and love Him forever.
Amen.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be.
