In the gospels during the Easter Season, Jesus refers to Himself as The Good Shepherd who leads and guides His flock. He also refers to Himself as The Vine and His flock as the branches that He gives life and nourishment.
A thought for each of us during these days, is to take time at the end of each day to reflect upon how and when in the course of our day, Jesus has been a Good Shepherd and a Vine to us. Do we seek Him out?
Do we thank Him for giving us life and nourishment and leading and guiding us in the moments of our day?
May we feel loved and safe and rejoice always that Jesus is our Good Shepherd and our Vine.
