Back to School Blessings

Dear Parishioners,

As students return for another year, I ask that you pray for them that this year will be a time of grace and growth for them. As they move forward in life’s journey, may God be with them to lead and guide them along good and right paths.

We wish all students returning to school or beginning for the first time, good luck and God’s Blessings. We promise you our prayers and support. We pray in a special way for all the students from Saints Peter and Paul Parish, no matter what school or what level you are in. You are our hope for the future.

Pray also for all school administration, teachers, staff and volunteers. May God bless them with wisdom, grace and faith. May they know the importance of their calling and God’s presence with them.

We welcome in a special way, all those students and faculty returning to Saints Peter and Paul School. We pray that your presence among us will be a blessing for you and all of us.

May Jesus, the Master Teacher, be our guide as we begin another school year. I offer my prayers for all students and ask our parishioners, especially parents, to pray for our children and young people as they embark on another phase of life.

A Prayer for Young People

God our Father, you see your
children growing up in an unsteady
and confusing world:
Show them that your ways
give more than the ways of the world,
and that following you is better than
chasing after selfish goals.
Help them to take failure, not
as a measure of their worth,
but as a chance for a new start.
Give them strength to hold
their faith in you, and to keep
alive their joy in your
creation; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
