Dear Parishioners,
This week we celebrate Catholic Schools Week. The theme this year is; “Faith, Excellence, and Service.”
I want to take this opportunity to thank our principal, faculty, staff and all our volunteers for all they do to make our school excellent in academic learning and especially faith formation. I also offer thanks to our Board of Limited Jurisdiction for their dedication and service.
To all of you, our faithful Parishioners, donors and friends, I say a special thank you for your generosity to our school. Your goodness assists us in maintaining our standard of excellence.
The following is a prayer for our Catholic Schools. I ask that you take time to pray for the continued success of all our Catholic Schools, especially for Saints Peter and Paul School.
God bless us all!

Prayer For the Welfare of
The Catholic School System
God of ages in your kind providence, you watch and guide with loving care every age of our earthly existence and progress.
Saint John Neumann was an instrument in your hands in bringing such rich blessings on our forefathers in this land which has chosen your own Blessed Mother as its patroness. Through their intercession look down with compassion on our present-day needs. Grant especially renewed strength and healthy growth of our parochial school system and our secondary education endeavors.
Grant that these schools may be financially sound. Grant that they may be instrumental in inspiring our energetic youth of today with the desire to dedicate their life’s career to consecrated service in your vineyard as priest, religious and apostolic workers.
We thank you for having placed among the elect of your sanctuary as our model and intercessor Saint John Neumann, the zealous promoter of the Catholic school system in its infant days. Take care of this vine. Protect what your right hand has planted. This we ask through Christ, Our Lord.
Amen.
