Eucharistic Congress Prayer

Dear Parishioners,

As part of the Eucharistic Revival, the Archdiocese will be celebrating an Archdiocesan Eucharistic Congress on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown, PA.

For Corpus Christi Sunday, I’d like to offer you the prayer for the Eucharistic Congress.

Heavenly Father,
We come to you with joy and thanksgiving
for the saving Sacrifice of your divine Son
present to us with every celebration of the Eucharist.

May we enter into this Sacred Mystery with deeper faith
and unite our lives to the offering of your Son on the Cross
so to live Christian lives formed by his love for you and others.

May we desire always to receive Holy Communion worthily
to grow in intimacy with Jesus, to keep free from sin,
and to recognize the face of your Son in all people,
especially the poor.

May we adore the Real Presence of your Son
in his Holy Body and Blood with renewed certainty
that, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we will be transformed
into his likeness and be his witness in the world.
