Mother's Day

Sunday is Mother’s Day. It is a special day to honor our mothers and let them know without a doubt, how much we love them. As I said, it is a special day. It is not the only day we express our love and admiration for our mothers. That is something we should be doing every day.
 
Those of us who have been blessed with good mothers, know what a gift they are to us. The sacrifices they make for us day in and day out, are made without a second thought. They brought us into this world. We are an integral part of them. We are their children, no matter how old we are. They never stop caring for us and wanting to guide and protect us. They hold us close in their hearts. They are truly the very personification of God’s love for us.
 
Sunday, we honor our mothers and all those who are nurturers, the mother figures in our lives. They too are many, and a gift to be treasured. Be sure to recognize them all on their special day. They are only present with us in this world for a time, but their love for us lives on in eternity.
 
And so, whether present with us here and now, or already called to their reward with God, we say: “Thanks Mom! We love you and will never forget all you have done for us.”
