November: The Month of All Souls

Dear Parishioners,

During this month of November when we remember our beloved deceased in a special way, I offer the following prayer:

Lord, grant to our loved ones rest and peace, mercy and forgiveness, joy and life, the fullness of life in your presence.

Lord, be to them all they had
hoped you would be.
Be to them all they need you to be.

Be good to them Lord and
recognize them for their goodness
the way they deserved to be recognized,
the way the world never did.

Fill them Lord
and surround them with your love
and with our love.

Amen.
