As a celebration of the 150th Anniversary of the Proclamation of Saint Joseph as Patron of the Universal Church, Pope Francis, in his Apostolic letter; Patris Corde, has declared the year December 8, 2020 to December 8, 2021, as The Year of Saint Joseph, to be celebrated throughout the Universal Church.
Our parish will begin our celebration of this Year of Saint Joseph on his Feast Day, March 19, 2021. Saint Joseph watched over and cared for Mary, his beloved spouse and Jesus, his foster son, with gentle and loving care, fulfilling the call given to him by God the Father. His faithfulness and virtue are an example to all of us.
During this Year of Saint Joseph, we honor him and pray that he watch over, care for, and intercede for each and all of us, who are the Church of Jesus Christ.
Please see this week's bulletin, (which can be found online), with the ways we will celebrate here at our parish to honor Saint Joseph and
celebrate this year in his honor.
