PREP provides religious instruction for children in grades 1 through 7 who attend our public schools or non-Catholic private schools.
NEW THIS YEAR - PREP IMMERSION FOR ONE WEEK IN JUNE Plus Family Sundays, Spiritual and Service Activities!
PREP now consists of one week of catechesis (8:30 am to 2:30 pm) June 16 to 20, plus four Sunday Family Faith sessions throughout the year, as well as family participation in four spiritual and four service activities.
Children receiving their Sacraments will meet an additional three times to focus on reception and deeper understanding of the Sacrament.
Calendar dates for the Family Sundays, Sacrament meetings and Spiritual and Service activities will be shared when finalized (before June). The Spiritual and Service dates will be updated as additional programing is added. You can participate in service and spiritual events at places besides SSPP. For example, attend a retreat at Malvern Retreat house, visit St. John Neumann’s shine or make Advent wreaths.
We hope to plan additional events like the day of service each January. Or perhaps as a family you decide to visit a retirement home in our parish or adopt a family through our angel tree at church.
Registration - Returning FamiliesIf you have neighbors or friends in our parish who have rising first graders or older children who never attended PREP but would like to start, please refer them to our Parish Website to register for PREP using the new family link. If they are not registered in our parish but would like to be part of Saints Peter and Paul Parish, please have them go to our parish office to register before signing up for PREP.
Thank you and God bless!
