Clubs and Enrichments

In addition to a full academic curriculum, Saints Peter and Paul School encourages student participation in extra-curricular interests which enhance their student experience.

Band – Students in 3rd-8th Grade may participate in instrumental Band. There is an additional fee for Band as well as a charge for instrument rental (through Taylor’s Music in West Chester). Each week, students have a small group lesson for their particular instrument and  a band rehearsal. A Christmas Concert and a Spring Concert are held each year.

Choir – Beginning in 3rd grade, students may participate in the Parish Children’s Choir. This Choir rehearses on Thursday afternoons and performs at the 9:30 am Sunday Mass at Saints Peter and Paul Church.

Reading Olympics  – for Grades 4-8.  The Goal of Reading Olympics is to increase the quality and quantity of books students read for enjoyment. The Olympics are primarily a celebration of reading rather than a contest. All participants are awarded ribbons. Since the teams generate much excitement about this reading event, the experience is rewarding for everyone involved. Visit http://readingolympics.cciu.org/ to learn more about Reading Olympics in Chester County.

Irish Dance – lessons are conducted by McDade School of Irish Dance after school on Tuesdays from January through March each year. This is open to all students, including PreK students. There is an additional fee. The school students perform on St. Patrick’s Day (school observed) in the gym for their school mates and parents.
