Technology

Saints Peter and Paul School embraces a digital-rich environment. We integrate technology into the curriculum to enhance digital literacy and to create a community of connectivity and collaboration. Faculty, students, and families experience daily applied technology using the following tools:

  • Student run TV production studio that produces a daily show that is streamed live to classrooms
  • Computer Technology Room (in transition from a library to a learning commons)
  • Individual Net Books for students in grades 3- 8
  • SmartBoard in every classroom, including cafeteria and library
  • iPad Cart with 30 iPads for use in Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, Grade 1 and Grade 2
  • Apple TVs have recently been added to the middle school classrooms

Curricular Application:

  • Web collaboration sites. For example, Google Docs and Google Classroom, Noodle Tools.
  • Power Point Presentations
  • Live Video Streaming
  • Rosetta Stone:  The online Rosetta Stone Foreign Language Program is a required course for students of Grades 5 to 8. 22 Languages are offered including: Italian, Chinese, Japanese, French, German, and Spanish

  • Google sites for principal and classroom teachers
