Financial Aid

Saints Peter and Paul School uses the Smart Aid application for making all tuition assistance determinations and awards. The financial aid process for the 2017-18 academic year is now closed. For current families experiencing financial hardship and in need of immediate help with tuition payments, please contact business manager Loretta Pawlowski.

The Smart Aid application for the 2018-2019 academic year is typically available in late November. Please check with the business office. Families are encouraged to complete the application as soon as available, but definitely before the deadline of December 31, 2017.

Those families who applied for the 2017-2018 school year will only need to:
1. login using their username and password from 17-18
2. update their information
3. submit and pay the $25 application fee
4. return to the site and upload their 2017 taxes when completed but no later than 3/31/2018.

The first 3 steps above need to be completed by all returning families by 12/31/2017.
New families will want to complete the application by 12/31/2017 to be considered as a priority application.

Thanks to the generosity of local businesses, Saints Peter and Paul School receives tuition assistance for families through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC)For the 2017-2018 academic year, Saints Peter and Paul School has secured more than $194,000 in EITC funds.  Below is a list of the generous community businesses and individuals that dedicated EITC to Saints Peter and Paul School for the 2017-2018 academic year:

All applications and scholarship awards are extremely confidential. Awards are determined on a need basis.  The maximum income for a single household to qualify for EITC scholarships is as follows:

1                         91,620          (1 child)

2                         $106,890     (2 children)

3                         $122,160     (3 children)

Increases by $15,270 for each additional dependent

 

How do families apply for an EITC scholarship?

SmartAid provides the application families are required to submit to apply for EITC tuition assistance.  The application is available at www.smartaidforparents.com .  Families are asked to complete the online application and supply supporting documentation by the priority deadline of December 31, 2017. Families are encouraged not to delay the application process.    Families will be notified of awards and funds will be applied directly to individual family tuition accounts.

In addition to the financial aid described above, Saints Peter and Paul will work with families in need of tuition assistance.
