Home and School Association

Welcome to the Saints Peter and Paul School Home and School Association.  All parents and guardians of Saints Peter and Paul School students are members of the HSA and are welcome to become an active part of this vital organization. The HSA offers numerous ways in which you can be involved in and connected to the school, from attending HSA meetings to helping with events or serving as class representatives and on committees.  Even if you can spare only a bit of time, your contribution is important and valuable in building a cohesive community.

2017-2018 HSA General Membership Meetings (begin at 7:00 p.m.): October 10, December 5, January 25, March 13, April 10 and May 22.

 

The Home and School Association annual spring fundraiser will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018. To volunteer, sponsor or donate, please contact HSA President, Sally Lemheney at samnsal@comcast.net.

 

The purposes of the HSA is to represent and advance the views, interests and perspectives of parents in the school community; to aid the integration and education of parents in the expectations, activities and procedures of the school; in collaboration with the administration, faculty and Board of Limited Jurisdiction, to lend its support to activities, and programs for students and faculty; and to advance the financial viability and public image of the school, and the security, morale and well-being of its members.  Together we can achieve our common goals of supporting our children, the school, and the entire Saints Peter and Paul School community.

The HSA sponsors events such as our Annual Spring Auction, Movie Nights, class and grade events and many more. Event proceeds have generated significant financial contributions to the School.

Meetings are held 5-6 times during the school year. Free babysitting is provided in the Art Room by 8th grade students. It is a great opportunity to mingle with other school parents and learn what is going on at the school.

*Elections are held annually for 2 of the parent positions on the Board. President and Secretary are on the same cycle, as are Vice President and Treasurer. Each position is a two-year term. (Two consecutive terms by any one individual are allowed.) Elections are held at the last general meeting of the school year, in May.
