Each parish in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia has been asked to observe in their own way the Year of Saint Joseph. All members of the Church are invited to recognize the unique role of Saint Joseph as the patron and protector of the universal Church.
There are three pillars to this special observance:
To increase our love for this great saint
To encourage us to implore his intercession
To imitate his virtues and zeal
We encourage all our parishioners to use our special prayer cards on the 19th of every month beginning on the feast day of Saint Joseph (March 19).
Since Wednesday is traditionally a day to honor Saint Joseph, Mass on Wednesdays will be followed by the recitation of the novena prayer on the special prayer cards.
On the 19th day each month, a Votive Mass in honor of Saint Joseph will be livestreamed and we will recite the novena prayer on the prayer card following Mass.
We will livestream Mass on the feast days of Saint Joseph:
March 19 - Feast of Saint Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary
May 1 - Feast of Saint Joseph the Worker

For centuries, Christians have experienced the blessings of going on pilgrimages to honor God, the Blessed Mother and the saints. The most popular shrine dedicated to Saint Joseph is Saint Joseph's Oratory in Quebec, Canada. There is a smaller shrine in Stirling, New Jersey called the Shrine of Saint Joseph.
